The 25th annual Oxford CAMRA Beer & Cider Festival, held in Oxford Town Hall in St Aldate's. It's not strictly local but is included on this page as the X5 bus service runs direct from Bedford to Oxford. This year's festival is organised in association with the SIBA Midland Independent Beer Awards.

140 different real ales, 20 ciders and perries, plus some keg beers. Admission gets you a souvenir glass, programme, and £10 beer (or cider) tokens. Food is available and there are two rooms away from the main hall with seating. Under 18s free but not allowed in main hall.

Tickets are available for all day Thursday (opens at 3pm until 11pm) or all day Friday (11am to 11pm) or all day Saturday (11am until 9pm or earlier if the beer runs out). Click Oxford BCF tickets for details. Or you can just turn up and pay on the door on any day.
