Symbol Spot
A new Marston Vale Line Symbol Spot Trail, in association with Mini Map Makers, will be available when purchasing child train tickets at Bedford, Bletchley and Milton Keynes Central stations or when visiting Ridgmont Station Heritage Centre during normal opening hours with a valid train ticket.
The Marston Vale Line is the first in the country to have a Symbol Spot along its route.
The aim is to spot a host of symbols along the line, including letters, numbers, shapes, map symbols, signs and rail safety items. Children will produce rubbings in their booklets of the symbols located at each station and the set at Ridgmont Station Heritage Centre.
Symbol Spot isn't just for children, adults can learn too, A ‘Strip Map’ of the Line has been produced.

I enjoyed my trip on the Marston Vale Line the other day. youtu.be/ymxwgirhqH0?si=WgOgN1xVkuvCf0bj
ABSOLUTELY USELESS ...... PHONED EARLIER FOR TRAIN TIMES TO LIDLINGTON WAS TOLD ..19.45 .. TICKET OFFICE IS OPEN TILL 8PM .... WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH .. GOT TO BLETCHLEY STATION OFFICE CLOSED ... AND TRAIN CANCELLED ..... I CALLED UP AT 6.30 PM ..... HOW CAN THEY TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THIS ..... ITS PATHETIC AND NOT ON ..... WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO .... WALK ????????? .........got to platform 6 waited for train ....then a class 37 train turned up on that platform and said no more trains tonight .... how disgusting
Should be free until full service guaranteed
I was in the area for the weekend. Took advantage of bit of free time Saturday. Came to Ridgmont to visit the tea room. The Taxi driver had never heard of Ridgmont so that was fun. Lol. Had a lovely pot of tea and meal outside tea room in the sheltered area as inside full. It was very busy. The wait was understandable. Staff and food great. I explained to the lady on the till how a platform ticket used to work as there is one inside the counter as you pay for your meal/goods. Had a ride to Bletchley and Bedford. Then back to Woburn Sands for a taxi back to my hotel. Lovely train ride. Used to do it in 70s and 80s. Good museum at Ridgmont. As retired railway man I could have got 75% discount on train fare but didn't bother. A really nice day out. Thank you all. A railway colleague told me the real reason there had been so much disruption on the railway in the past. Will be back sometime.
How long will the £1 train fare be for
That’s why both me and my brother stopped using the Marston line because since viarail had problems with the ex d/230 rolling stock and difficulty with the rail replacement buses before and after the 1st of December 2022
Amazing 👌🙌

What about parking restrictions for the visitors who’d like to save on the car park? Will all the residents be forced to use parking permits that we need to pay for annually? We live is Stewartby and the car park will be on our side of the proposed plans. So our roads will be blocked up by people trying to avoid the car park.
Are the trains running 🤔😂😂😂😂
It will be a Industrial site once the Government and other environmental reports come in
